Room 9 is owned and operated by Jerry Whiting, the former lead guitarist of the Southern California thrash band Ill Will. Seeking a creative outlet after the demise of Ill Will, he began writing and recording his own music, leading to the formation of  the project "The New Evil" along with Todd Rubenack, former singer of  Comatose and Pain Corp. Realizing he had a real prowess and passion for the recording and mixing process he began taking on outside projects and in 2014 decided to open his studio to the public. Room 9 strives to capture, fine tune, and bring to life the artistic vision of our clients in a relaxed, creative environment.
